It reminds me of my aunt, she lived about two hours away and sometimes she’d pick me up and i’d stay at hers for the weekend or whatever. She was the best and I totally wanted to be like her. She would show me the best music, we would just listen and drive and laugh.
She was that aunt who always had gum you know?
Those were the wood times.
The other awesome song that really reminds me of her van is:
This is a soundtrack to my first apartment. Living away from my family, with my friend daniel. I stayed in that apartment for six months. It didn’t feel that long, but there are so many memories. I grew so much, learned so much its almost to much to grasp. Living with other people, although trying at times is a worthwhile adventure.
This is a playlist that reminds me of the time I spent living in Victoria BC, during the fall of 2009. Fresh out of high school I had just been introduced to the world of “indie” music a few months before. These songs tickled the eardrums of a lonely, but artistically charged girl.
Most of these songs were probably from a) a friend (rawfuel)
Soooo, this song is apart of a skit on SNL. Hearing it made me think of graduating from primary school, I think it was our grad song? I know it was probably lots of peoples grad song.
It reminds me of the feeling I had leaving my first school, I wasn’t really sad. I just wanted to do the next thing.
Now it’s just a incredible feeling to remember the place and the people I spent to much time with.
